June 4, 2008 – Doggie Cakes – Bakery and Boutique was on Tampa Bay’s 10 News! The video aired in the 4:00 pm hour and featured Trina and group of dog customers and their owners. We got the surprise call the day before from reporter Katheryn Bursch, that she planned to come out around 10:30 am. Her intention was to meet and interview some dogs and customers. Opening day, May 10th, at Doggie Cakes went very well and was the result of lots of hard work and planning. Dog Friendly Parks in Tampa Bay

Google Maps has a nice group of placemarks of dog-friendly parks in the Tampa Bay area. Doggie Cakes is only a seven minute drive from Meadows Park on Larch Lane in New Port Richey. I have mapped the driving directions, in case you would like to stop by after playing. This park has separate fenced play areas for small and big dogs. April was a busy month at Doggie Cakes as we painted, cleaned, ordered fixtures, learned about local procedures and permits, and purchased items for the boutique.  Hopefully we are just three inspections away from opening.
